#stopkony
Reblogging so I can watch the whole thing in the morning… but also to help spread the word. We can #stopkony!!!

This isn’t some tan girl covered in makeup with perfectly straight hair and a perfect smile. This is a girl with Pfeiffer Syndrome, who has had bangs her whole life to hide her forehead and struggles everyday to be okay with looking this way. She’s had several surgeries and will have a couple more. she can’t wear makeup much, her eyes are sensitive. Her jaw is misaligned. Her forehead is too thick and has to be shaven down. Her cheekdowns have to be moved forward by surgery. when she was four she had something called a ‘halo’ which was a metal circle screwed into her skull and jaw.
though she fought through it medically, she struggles everyday with the emotional sideeffects. she doesn’t look like her family or her friends. she may never look normal. she has depression and eating issues because of what she has had to accept about herself. she has done awful things to be pretty.
nobody ever sees her without makeup or without bangs.
until now.
She, is me.
and if I make your blog ugly, than don’t reblog this. but if you can be one of the few people in my life who I know are fully comfortable with it, than reblog this so people know.

Please reblog this so people can pray.
This is my son, James. He’s my whole entire world, basically the reason why I continue to get out of bed everyday. Today when he was at his moms, she wasn’t watching him and he fell down a load of stairs. He was knocked out and when she brought him to the hospital he wouldn’t wake up. Eventually he woke up and the doctors said everything was okay so I took him home with me. He fell asleep like 30 minutes after I got home with him so I put him in his crib, about 2 hours later I went in to check on him and he wasnt moving and I shook him a little and he wouldnt wake up. I’m sitting across from him in the hospital room as he lays down wrapped in all kinds of cords and has a breathing machine hooked to him to keep him breathing. I’m 17, I’m young and I haven’t lived my life to the fullest, but if he dies.. I go too. Please pray. Please.

this is a petition to bring to justice the people who recently stuck a firecracker in a dog’s mouth and then taped his mouth shut. if you haven’t seen this picture already, i will warn you that it is extremely graphic and you should prepare yourself as you click on this link.

He had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire. She is pregnant.
The firefighter was afraid of her at first, because he had never been around a Doberman before. When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest.
A photographer from the Charlotte, North …Carolina newspaper, “The Observer,” noticed this red Doberman in the distance looking at the fireman. He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do. As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies, and kissed him, just as the photographer snapped this photograph….
